When we asked for donations for James E. Plew Elementary School on July 10th, we weren’t sure what to expect. We’re thrilled to say that our school drive was a smash success!

The school supplies we raised with the help of our community and employees

Our team and community showed up and donated over 40 pounds of supplies, including 14 boxes of crayons, 28 glue sticks, 96 colored pencils, 10 pairs of scissors, and numerous other classroom essentials, from headphones to tissues and paper towels.

“At Tru Plumbing and Gas, we're a family business here to serve our community,” said company owner and master plumber Cody Kearns. “We know that the need for school supplies puts a strain on families and teachers, and we’re happy to help make things easier. We’re so grateful for our Tru team and our community coming together to make this happen.”

Plew Elementary starts classes again on July 12th. We wish the Plew Panthers, teachers, and parents a happy and successful school year!
